BLU-MED Response Systems offers portable medical facilities which can be rapidly deployed to the
scene of a disaster or other more appropriate locations. Our Disaster Medical Facilities provide a
self-contained, climate-controlled, clean environment for practicing advanced-level medical care at the point of need.

Expanding hospital capacity on campus to receive, process, treat, and/or redirect a large influx of patients arriving at the door
BLU-MEDTM Disaster Medical Facilities can be rapidly set up next to a hospital and quickly configured to meet immediate/changing/expanding needs, including emergency services, intgensive care, ward beds and pharmaceutical distribution.

Protecting existing healthcare assets and services in the process
BLU-MEDTM Disaster Medical Facilities are effective in limiting the risk of infecting or contaminating hospital buildings and equipment, staff, and patients. These stand-alone facilities are ideal for use as type “C” isolation units for bio terrorism events, and for implementing “aggressive diversion.”

BLU-MEDTM Disaster Medical Facilities are climate controlled, ensuring a safe medical environment even in extreme conditions, maintaining interior 65 F to 75 F in exterior temperatures ranging from -25 F to +140 F (using 5-ton HVAC).

BLU-MEDTM Disaster Medical Facilities are capable of lasting the duration of a long-term event and recovery as they are engineered to withstand heavy rain, 100-mph winds and a 20-psf snow load.
